What is Regular Student Employment?

Regular student employment (non-work-study) is not part of the financial aid package and is available to any student. There are very few regular student employment positions on campus.

Rate: $7.25/hour

Volleyball Manager

Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain equipment, sweep floors, extend bleachers, keep game stats.
Hours: set hours, short term
Eligibility: open to all students but work-study preferred
Qualifications/Skills Required: Understanding and knowledge of volleyball terminology and game play; fast and accurate record keeping. Computer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities: Record team statistics for each player on the court.
Hours: set hours, short term
Eligibility: open to all students but work-study preferred
Qualifications/Skills Required: Understanding and knowledge of volleyball terminology and game play; fast and accurate record keeping. Computer experience. 

Men's Basketball Manager

Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain equipment, sweep floors, extend bleachers, keep game stats.

Basketball Statistician

Duties and Responsibilities: Record team statistics for each player on the court.
Hours: short term, set hours, renewable each semester
Eligibility: open to all students but work-study preferred
Qualifications/Skills Required: Understanding and knowledge of basketball terminology and game play; fast and accurate record keeping. Computer experience.

Media Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance to instructors and students in Distance Education rooms. Duties include but not limited to: opening distance education classrooms, starting equipment, making connections, doing sound and video checks, assisting instructors and students with equipment operations, monitoring class for equipment malfunctions, troubleshooting problems during class, documenting problems, contacting others as needed, turning equipment off and locking room(s) at conclusion of classes, and enforcement of classroom rules.
Hours: 7:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, Occasional hours in support of BAAS program, 4:45 p.m.-8:45 p.m.Monday-Thursday , Number of days and hours varies based on availability
Eligibility: Work Study students preferred but open to non-work study students
Qualifications/Skills Required: Provide technical support for Distance Education classes. Training will be provided. Need not be computer proficient but must be dependable and responsible.
