"Building a better you is the first step to building a better America." - Zig Ziglar
The "first step" begins with submitting an application for admission to UW-Barron County. I receive applications and enter them into our PRISM data base. I review and enter your additional application materials as they arrive -- application fees, school transcripts, ACT and other test scores, residency and citizenship documentation, etc. If I need clarification or additional documentation, I will call and/or email you. If you have any questions, please contact me by phone or email. If your question is urgent, the Student Affairs Office staff is available to assist you. Admission decisions are made by Dale Fenton, Assistant Campus Dean for Student Affairs. An official letter with your admission decision will be sent to you by regular mail.

As an admissions specialist and a proponent of life-long learning, I believe that by assisting those who are beginning or continuing their educational journey, I am "giving back" to the all college and university staff who helped me along my educational path, and I am "paying forward" by enabling current and future students to pick up the torch of educational pursuit and become a beacon to those who follow after them. Your college career will present you with many challenges. As you face and overcome these challenges, you will also acquire the poise and self-confidence that are the rewards of achievements earned through hard work and perseverance. You will learn not only knowledge and skills useful in the workplace, but you will achieve an awareness of ideas and concepts that transcend and enrich our daily lives. You will learn how to communicate your ideas to others, and how to be open to ideas from others. Life is abundant with adventures, if you are open to recognizing them. But, for your adventure to begin, you must take that first step.
