Statement 

Before coming to UW-Barron County in 2009, Nichole was previously employed as a teaching assistant at the University of Kansas and at Miami University of Ohio. Her areas of expertise include gender, intersectional rhetorics, rhetorical theory and criticism. Nichole is the president of the Barron County Domestic Abuse Project, a nonprofit organization which provides community education, victim advocacy, financial support and transtional housing for victims of domestic abuse in Barron County.  When she is not teaching, she enjoys watching live music, doing yoga, cooking, and spending time with her partner, Ryan, and their dogs Murphy & Sally.
