The public is invited to register and compete in the Thirteenth Biannual UW-BC Chess Tournament that will be held on Thursday, April 24 at 4:30 p.m. in The Commons at UW-Barron County.
The UW-BC Charger Chess Club is hosting the tournament, which will be conducted in a Swiss-System format. Participants will meet and play in the Commons. Each participant will play a total of four games. In each game, each player will have a maximum of 20 minutes of playing time. The players with the top three scores are awarded chess-related prizes.
Registration is free and open to the public. Players of all skill levels are welcome. Refreshments will be provided for all participants.
