Children's Play, Tyl, to be Performed

The children’s play “The Marvelous Adventures of Tyl” will be presented on Friday, May 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the UW-Barron County Fine Arts Theatre.

the whole family will enjoy this play about a little German character named Tyl Eulenspiegel.  He’s a mischievous boy who goes through life pulling pranks on many of his family friends.  According to play director Terry Wiesner, “It is filled with fun, humor and comments about society.  Tyle does not always fit in as a little boy should, so he chooses to cause as much ruckus as he can.”

The character Tyl is played by Samuel Foight of Rice Lake.  The rest of the cast is Mckenzy Suhr of Rice Lake, Cody Bailey of New Auburn, Sharai Hefty of Rice Lake, Jonathan Lloyd of Shell Lake; Tyler Harrell of Shell Lake, Jennelle Larson of Rice Lake, and Amanda Nelson of Rice Lake.  Assistant to the director is Helen Goosby of Barron.
