U-FEST, a community and university gathering celebrating the fun, inclusiveness and diversity of the University of Wisconsin-Barron County, will be held on Saturday, September 16 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Serving as the post-run fun immediately following the Forrest Run, this free, family-friendly event is open to run participants, area high school and college students, and the public. U-FEST events will include 4-on-4 volleyball, yard games including corn hole, Kubb and ladder golf, disc golf, and a selfie scavenger hunt. Music will be provided by DJ Adam Bever. There will be free cotton candy, popcorn, prizes and giveaways throughout the event. Lunch will be available for purchase at the Riverside Café, located in the UW-BC Student Center.
U-FEST is coordinated and sponsored by UW-Barron County Foundation Inc. and a variety of student organizations on the UW-BC campus. All events will be held on the campus grounds at 1800 College Drive; in the event of rain, games will be moved into the gymnasium. More information about U-FEST is available at www.u-fest.org or by calling 715-234-8176 Ext. 5503.
