Incoming freshmen, continuing, and transferring UW-BC students are now eligible to apply for scholarships for the 2014-2015 academic year. Scholarships are provided by the UW-Barron County Foundation scholarship program.
New freshmen who have been admitted for the fall 2014 semester by April 1, 2014 are eligible and encouraged to apply for the scholarships totaling nearly $9,000 with award amounts ranging from $250 to $1,000. The deadline for new freshmen to apply for admission and submit completed scholarship application forms is April 1, 2014.
There are 40 plus scholarships available for UW-BC continuing students totaling nearly $20,000 and three scholarships totaling over $2,000 for students transferring from UW-Barron County. The deadline for continuing and transfer students to apply for scholarships is April 7, 2014.
It should be noted that half of the total scholarship award amount is paid at the beginning of each semester in the 2014-2015 academic year. For a scholarship listing, criteria, and application form go to barron.uwc.edu/admissions/paying/scholarships or visit the UW-BC Student Services Office.
