The Wisconsin Education Fair, featuring representatives from approximately 80 post-secondary institutions, will be in Rice Lake on Thursday, Oct. 12. The education fair will be held from 9 – 11 a.m. in the UW-Barron County gymnasium, 1800 College Dr., Rice Lake.
This program, open to the public free of charge, will provide an opportunity for parents and students to obtain information from a variety of post-secondary institutions. Representatives from Wisconsin and out-of-state colleges and universities, vocational schools, trade schools, and the military will be present to talk about the many educational opportunities.
No formal sessions will be held. Instead, students and parents will be free to move from display table to another, spending as much time as they wish with individual representatives.
For more information, contact Kevin Falkenberg, UW-BC student advisor, 715-234-8176, ext. 1. The Wisconsin Education Fair is co-sponsored by UW-Barron County and the Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College.
