Work and share with other professionals to improve teaching and leadership skills. This program is designed for K-12 educators; higher education, technical school instructors; anyone interested in developing teaching and leadership skills and who seeks to experience the power and excitement of a learning community.
Your community will meet on the UW-Barron County campus in Rice Lake. Students complete 7 – 8 credits over five weekends fall and spring term, then 2 nonconsecutive weeks in the summer, and finish with one final semester.
How is our program different?
Shared Inquiry
The Shared Inquiry process is a learning method in which students search for answers to fundamental questions raised by a text, lecture, or experience. Participants of shared inquiry communities learn to give full consideration to the ideas of others, promoting thoughtful dialogue and open debate.
