Photography 101 is a hands-on course for beginning and emerging photographers. This course is designed to help you take better photos by understanding how to use your camera along with the new techniques you will learn in the class. The sessions will be classroom and hands-on. With each class session, you’ll also have a photo assignment that will allow you to put into practice what you are learning in the class. Photography 101 will cover digital equipment, lighting, compositional tips and tricks, as well as ways to work with people and pets for great photos. With step-by-step explanations and lots of examples, you’ll see how to take your camera out of automatic mode with terrific results. Your instructor is Shawn Payne. Shawn started taking pictures with his first camera in 1977. He has progressed over the years to a professional model Canon and looks forward to sharing his experience in photography with the participants in Photography 101.
