Librarians are here to help you with all aspects of the research process including:
- Figuring out research topic ideas
- Finding background information on your topic
- Identifying high quality, scholarly resources for your topic or project
- Managing citations and creating bibliographies
Stop by the reference desk during regular library hours, or schedule an appointment with a librarian.
UWBC students get 200 ($20) free prints each semester. Your account balance is shown each time you log on to a computer in the library lab. If you use all 200 prints, you may put additional funds into your printing account at Student Services. However, do not add more than you will use as extra money on the account cannot be refunded.
Students wishing to make photocopies should ask a member of library staff to enter the copy machine code. All student copies are .10 each and must be paid for in cash at the circulation desk. Color copies/prints may be made at the circulation desk and are $1 per page.
This collection, located behind the circulation desk, includes textbooks, books, articles, and/or audio and video tapes for short-term reading or viewing as assigned by faculty. Since many students need to access a limited number of copies or materials, fines for overdue items are heavy: 2-hr. loans: $1 per hour, per item.
