Student Accessibility Services

Students with disabilities (those who have been admitted and can provide documentation of their disability) have the right to request accommodations from the University, as stipulated within Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1976 and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

After being admitted to UW-Barron County, students with disabilities should make an appointment with Sonya Murrey in the Office of Student Services to discuss their specific needs. Early notice of a disability is necessary due to the time required to make arrangements for such accommodations. Sonya can be contacted at 715-234-8024 or sonya.murrey@uwc.edu.

Students may also contact Brian Schultz, UW Colleges Director of Student Accessibility Services in Madison, at 608-262-2001 (voice) or 608-265-5766 (TDD/TTY) for further information and assistance.

For more information on how to apply for accommodation services, UW System and UW Colleges policies regarding disability-related services, and campus contact information, see the main UW Colleges Accessibility Services website.
