Head Coach

Sue Bedient is in her fourth year as Charger volleyball coach. Sue comes to the program with a strong background and passion for the game. She played varsity volleyball at UW-River Falls and was a successful varsity coach at Barron High School. Of the 14 years she was Barron's head coach they won 12 conference championships. Her teams made four trips to state and brought home one state title. Coach Bedient continues to share her knowledge with young players in the area through the summer camps she coaches.

Sue retired after 33 years of teaching Physical Education at Barron High School. She continues to be active in a variety of sports and enjoys traveling.

Coach Bedient is excited to have the opportunity to coach the game of volleyball at a higher level and is enthusiastic about bringing her passion and competitive nature to the UW-BC volleyball program. She was named 2011 WCC Coach of the Year.
